Another horrific stock market crash is coming, and the next bust will be “unlike any other” we have seen.
That’s the message from Jeremy Grantham, co-founder and chief investment strategist of GMO, a Boston-based firm with $117 billion in assets under management.
Grantham pulls no punches when he discusses who he holds responsible for the coming financial carnage. In a recent interview with The New York Times, he calls Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen “ignorant” and said the Federal Reserve all but killed the economic recovery.
He also says that he isn’t putting his clients’ money into the market right now.
“We invest our clients’ money based on our seven-year prediction. And over the next seven years, we think the market will have negative returns. The next bust will be unlike any other, because the Fed and other central banks around the world have taken on all this leverage that was out there and put it on their balance sheets. We have never had this before.”
Grimly, he adds, “It’s going to be very painful for investors.”
Grantham isn’t the only one worried about a market collapse.

As many are speculating over last week’s blood moon and its significance, Jim Denison, founder of the Denison Forum on Truth and Culture, is asking the question, “Will Jesus return in the next 18 months?”
Last week’s lunar eclipse, more commonly known as a “blood moon,” is the first of four to come in the next year, which is called atetrad. Though they have happened before, this tetrad is noteworthy because each of the four blood moons will happen on a Jewish holiday—two during Passover and two during the Feast of Tabernacles.
The phenomenon has spurred a slew of books, including John Hagee’s best-selling Four Blood Moons: Something Is About to Change. While some are predicting the blood moons mean war in the Middle East, others predict Christ’s return.
“I have no idea if these events have anything to do with Jesus’ return,” Denison wrote in a column Monday. “But I do know that a ‘blood moon’ was associated with his death. When Peter preached his Pentecost sermon, he cited Joel’s prophecy: ‘the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, that great and magnificent day’ (Acts 2:20). Interestingly, on April 3, AD 33, a Passover lunar eclipse was visible from Jerusalem. As a result, a ‘blood moon’ rose that night over the Holy City.”

By 2040, cabs will be driven by Google robots, shops will become showrooms for online outlets and call centres will be staffed by intelligent droids. That’s the scenario depicted in recent research which suggests robots could be taking over our lives and jobs in less than 30 years. The competition for work caused by a rise in the robots population will see us heading to surgeons for ‘additional processing power for our brains’, they claim. We may also be requesting bionic implants for our hands that will make us able to perform tasks as fast as any machine. Futurologists, commissioned by global job search website xpatjobs.com, say workers will have less job security and will work more unsociable hours. Those who take these risks and innovate with their own bodies will be the biggest earners in 2040, they claim. However, the study added that workers may be left with poor eyesight, smaller sexual organs, and constantly-furrowed brows as they struggle to keep up to life in the 21st century. Experts expect the current 37.4 hour working week to increase by a third to 50.5 hours. The gloomy study predicts we will work several ‘micro jobs’ from a desk in our bedroom, and across different time zones. That would spell the end of the commute, drinks after work with colleagues, the office Christmas party, and the excuse ‘I’m just working late, dear’.
Futurologists believe many of us will become ‘jack-of-all-trades’, working across multiple timezones – reflecting the growing dominance of China. A worker may take care of customer service for a New York employer, chase accounts for a Singapore-based boss and come up with marketing ideas for a brand in Delhi. The job listings in 2040 will contain roles unrecognisable today as technology develops at an even faster pace, the study claims. Rhys Maddocks, director of XPat Jobs, said: ‘People will be surprised how fast things will change. ‘Technology and computers have only really touched the work market so far. ‘That and the globalisation of all work will revolutionise the way we think of work in the next 25 years. ‘But that is not to say work will simply go away. ‘There will always be entrepreneurial thinking that sees a use of real human interaction and jobs that require ideas, complex problem-solving and the caring touch can’t be partly of wholly replaced by machines.’ Looking at shifts they are already seeing in the labour market, XPat Jobs have come up with the careers today’s children should be looking to study for if they want a job in 25 years. PLEASE SHARE THIS DECADE OLD VIDEO WITH BILLY GRAHAM.
In this televised Easter special, Dr. Billy Graham teaches on three men who witnessed the crucifixion of Christ, and how their reactions to the momentous event shaped their eternal destinies. His impassioned address covers the thieves on either side of Jesus as he hung on the cross as well as the Roman centurion who watched from the other side of the crucifixion, as an executioner.
Graham closes the teaching by prompting the viewer to decide to follow Jesus. The world is a vastly different place than when these words traversed the airwaves, but the message remains timeless.

In some areas of the world, payment systems that require palm scanning or face scanning are already being tested. We have entered an era where biometric security is being hailed as the “solution” to the antiquated security methods of the past.
We are being promised that the constant problems that hackers are causing with our credit cards, bank accounts, ATM machines and Internet passwords will all go away once we switch over to biometric identification. And without a doubt, we have some massive security problems that need to be addressed. But do you really want a machine to read your face or your hand before you are able to buy anything, sell anything or log on to the Internet? Do you really want “the system” to be able to know where you are, what you are buying and what you are doing at virtually all times? Biometric security systems are being promoted as “cool” and “cutting edge”, but there is also potentially a very dark side to them that should not be ignored.
In this day and age, identity theft has become a giant problem. Being able to confirm that you are who you say that you are is a very big deal. To many, biometric security presents a very attractive solution to this problem. For example, the following is a brief excerpt from a recent Fox News article entitled “Biometric security can’t come soon enough for some people“…
In a world where nearly every ATM now uses an operating system without any technical support, where a bug can force every user of the Internet to change the password to every account they’ve ever owned overnight, where cyber-attacks and identity theft grow more menacing every day, the ability to use your voice, your finger, your face or some combination of the three to log into your e-mail, your social media feed or your checking account allows you to ensure it’s very difficult for someone else to pretend they’re you.

By Mark Driscoll:
When you reconstruct the medical aspects of Jesus’ crucifixion, the result is a brutal, vivid picture of what Jesus endured to save people from sin.
In 1986, The Journal of the American Medical Association published a series of articles examining the practice of torture. The first piece was entitled “On the Physical Death of Jesus Christ,” by William D. Edwards, M.D.; Wesley J. Gabel, M.Div.; and Floyd E. Hosmer, M.S., AMI.
“The article was an account of perhaps the most influential single event of torture in history with physiologically sound analysis showing the horrifying pain of a common ancient Roman punishment,” editor George Lundberg later wrote in defense of the controversial content.
Drawing on the biblical account of the crucifixion, archaeological evidence and historic documents, combined with modern study, the article aimed to “reconstruct the probable medical aspects of this form of slow execution” (1460). The result was a brutal, vivid explanation of what Jesus endured to save people from sin.
An Excruciating Death
This is what we did to the God of the universe, as described by the article:
